We got up yesterday morning to run 8 miles and for some reason neither of us could make it out of the neighborhood! We ended up going about a mile in about 14 min! LOL. It is really discouraging that days like that exist. Especially when we are behind on our training. But I know they do and I just get to let it go! lol. Today we did not have a lot of time to run but we did get in three miles at the gym. Daniel's time was 29:48 and mine was 31:48. The movie today was Ferris Bueler's Day Off. At least it was a comedy! I also found out today that Christina is not going to run St. George anymore and my parents are probably not coming down. It makes me sad but I suppose I will get over it. :) I am really looking forward to the vacation with Daniel!

6 Miles
We ran six miles on the treadmill today. The farthest either of us have run on a treadmill. :) The Cinema room at Gold's Gym does make it bearable though. Today we watched about an hour of The Great Debaters, which is a movie we have wanted to see. :) Although from today's experience, I think they should stick to comedies instead of tear jerkers! :) We did not record our exact time but we were roughly at 65 Min! :) Not too shabby for the treadmill.

Gotta Love the Treadmill
We did not get up early enough to beat the heat today. We went to the gym and ran on the treadmill. Gold's Gym does have one bonus though, you can run in the dark in front of a big movie screen. Something to take your mind off of the boring treadmill! LOL. As you can see from the results Daniel had the better time... He is such a good push for me!

We're Back!
4 Miles
40:55
Split 19:41/21:14
We took about six weeks off of running to allow Daniel time to heal from his surgery. It felt really good to get out there and run! Although Daniel was the one recovering, he kicked my butt.... I could barely keep up with him. LOL. With just over 7 weeks ahead of us before the St. George Marathon we have our work cut out for us! But I am excited that we get to take this journey together.
